The Latrobe Community Meal is a free sit down meal that will be served on the second Saturday of every month from 11:15 to 1:00pm. The purpose of the meal is twofold: to provide a meal for those that are struggling to make ends meet and to build community in Latrobe. Several assisted living facilities are sending residents — not because they are financially disadvantaged but because they rarely have visitors and suffer from isolation. So, the meal is for the financially disadvantaged and those who would like to visit with others.
The next Latrobe Community Meal will be held at Holy Family Parish on November 12th from 11:15 am to 1:00 pm. They do request that you make reservations for dinner but walk-ins will be welcome. For more information or to make a reservation please call 724-805-2348.
